Photographed on the north side of the workshop, on the same roll of paper we have used since 2019.
On the material
Oak, stone and wool, left to age.
Our oak comes from two forests in the Ardennes, felled in winter and air-dried for three years before anyone is allowed to cut it. Stone comes from a quarry near Soignies. Wool is spun in Belgium and left undyed.
Every surface is finished by hand with oil and wax. It will mark, and it is meant to.
